The person in this position is responsible for managing day-to-day support, operation and control of all IT security infrastructures in the organization and to manage the work of systems administrators. Work involves analysis, detecting deviations from standard norms, preparing reports, interact with concerned IT teams to get incidents and problems resolved, patch updates, helping the team manager in managing, recruitment, training the administrators.
Job Responsibilities :
• Provide on-going operational support including releases, upgrades, bug fixes, security updates, and any system change activities
• Independently handle technical issues and escalate complex and critical issues at appropriate levels across teams for speedy resolution of issues/incidents.
• Monitor and report for non-conformity, follow up the non-conforming incidents with concerned teams till resolution is reached.
• Prepare regular reports and publish them
• Attend meetings with counterparts in other support teams for providing better service and resolution of incidents/problems.
• Maintain and manage working relationships with other teams.
• Train the administrators to take up work independently and work as escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Assist the team leader in recruitment process by conduct technical interviews.
• Conduct technical training and cross training to the team.
