2. Develop new STBs like DVR, MPEG-4, and Mobile DTH for Dish TV.
3. Manage OTA upgrades for all the boxes.
4. Manage, develop and deliver new projects like IF to IF, MDU, Multisat option in STBs, to respective teams.
5. Improve SMS and SAS performance to overcome the issues of scability of the CAS system.
6. Resolve problems related to CAS
7. Improve existing STBs by getting feedback from market for problems and innovations.
8. Curb both the types of Piracy i.e. Re-Distribution and card level.
9. STB fundamentals, scalability issues & problems
10. Help STB & Middleware provider for debugging the ongoing issues.
11. CAS fundamentals, scalability issues and problems.
12. Role of packaging, logical addressing and express queues.
13. Impact of cycle time and load on SMS & CAS.
14. Anti-Piracy measures for both Card sharing and Re-distribution.
15. MPEG/DVB Fundamentals
